Virtual Card Set 2013 – Outer Space Liberace

When we added to Frieza’s personality stacks last year, there was somewhat of a gap for the Level 3. Frieza’s current (and only) Level 3 isn’t terrible per se, but it just doesn’t leave much to the imagination and doesn’t flow with the new virtual personalities we created. We thought we had done enough to Frieza to at least make him playable, but we kept hearing a call for a Level 5 (something we ourselves desired at some point as well). It didn’t make sense to have a new Level 5 with a still out-of-place Level 3, so we decided to do something about that.

35 Frieza the Collector

So this Frieza continues with the Frieza-named theme, but also adds an incredibly powerful (and unstoppable) attack that goes well with the Frieza’s Irritation Grows theme we supported with our last card. You could actually have a pretty mean combat if you catch your opponent unguarded when you reach Level 3 where you can grab an Irritation Grows and then hop up to your bonkers Level 4 from Hell and start popping out some Dragon Balls. If you can get to your Level 5 from there, his attack should clinch the game for you (if the Most Powerful Personality Victory didn’t already).

Another way you can play this is going for the staying power and attack boost that Frieza’s Daunting Bombardment gives you. Granted that card isn’t very helpful if you are trying to go the Irritation Grows route, but hey, that’s why you run Frieza’s Glory Drill if you want the best of both worlds. Alternatively, you could go defensive by grabbing a Frieza Smiles (which can be played after using Frieza’s power, as long as it’s still the first card to be played from your hand) or a Frieza’s Force Bubble if you’re facing an energy heavy deck.

All that’s left now is the new Frieza Lv. 5. Come back on the 25th to see the Glory of Frieza. Later, BroZ!
