2013: RetroDBZ Gets Huge

As 2013 came to a close, we once again get to reflect on all the awesome things the community has brought forth and accomplished this year. We nearly doubled in size on Facebook, going from 400 fans towards the end of 2012 to almost 800 fans at the end of 2013 (let’s see if we can push that number up there!). Our third annual RetroDBZ tournament at Gen Con Indy once again grew larger this year, and we thank everyone who took part.

We once again had a great year of content, and would like to thank the following for their contributions this year:

Didier Greenleaf

David “DBM” Fashbinder

Joshua “Manic” Merckle

Shannon Jakul

Kevin Bock

Nick “The Orange Hat Guy” Glaser

Chris Smith

We would also like to thank Geoffrey “Sayjin” Brewster, David “Chipmunk” Eckhard, The Endurance Test Podcast and Darryl Fisher for their exceptional contributions to the community.

If you are interested in writing articles for us, we always accept submissions at RetroDBZCCG@Yahoo.com or via a private message on our Facebook page. Looking forward, 2014 is already shaping up to be a big year for us and the game. Remember that the community stays alive by making more posts, talking about it, creating your own virtual cards, your own play videos, your own events and even podcasts. The power is literally in your hands.

In closing, we have this nice little WordPress wrap-up that’ll get social media cool guys like us excited.

Later, BroZ!
