Virtual Card Set 2015 – Last Update Before The Gen Con 2015 Dragon Ball Z Tournament

Hey BroZ,

With all the excitement of Panini America hosting the first official DBZ Tournament at Gen Con in nearly a decade, we told you this year would be a more subdued year for Virtual Cards for the RetroDBZ format. Well, here is the final batch of cards for you to work with before the Gen Con 2015 Dragon Ball Z Tournament.

First of all, some erratas were made to existing Virtual cards.

27 Vegeta Lv. 1

We tweaked the Virtual Vegeta to no longer perform attacks with his power, and now mills cards instead. We did this to ease up on certain deck types that threw a lot of boosted attacks at you in a single combat. We feel this update keeps Vegeta in line with our original goal for him and he still has a lot of potential.

Finally, that devil Janemba. He’s always had a bit of a tweaking problem, so we decided to make his Level 1 and 2 powers to be Tuff Enuff only where his power level would be a little more balanced.

Ok, here’s what you were waiting for, the new stuff!

As you can see, there are some Vegeta fans on the Retro design team who wanted to add a few things to the personality (and wanted to add a Gogeta to the mix, who obviously is a Fusion of Goku and Vegeta and can be fused with either Potara Earrings or Fusion Reborn). Finally we see two “spiritual remakes” of Dragon Ball GT cards The True Face of Evil and Going Super Saiyan.

That’s it, if you want to see all the 2015 cards go ahead and take a gander at the Virtual Card Set 2015 library. All the most up-to-date cards are in their respective libraries if you need to check that you are using the most up-to-date Retro card. The only change from cards released before the last event are listed above. And of course you can check out all our events (as well as Panini America’s) at Gen Con 2015 by clicking here.
