The complete image gallery for the Broly: The Second Coming Promo Card subset of the Dragon Ball GT TCG. These cards could be obtained in Baby Saga packs. Although these cards feature content from a Dragon Ball Z movie and have Dragon Ball Z CCG card backs, they are considered Dragon Ball GT TCG cards. None of these cards are legal in a Retro DBZ CCG format event.

They were legal in Expanded and Focused events by Score Entertainment. Basically any format that allowed the use of GT cards.

Please don’t make stuff up if you don’t know the answer. Just about every single thing in your post is wrong.
1) Broly Second Coming cards have never been legal in RetroDBZ, and have only been legal in Expanded and GT Focused formats when Score was running official events.
2) Kid Buu Saga did have two subsets, including a Broly subset and Bojack subset. You can view both in the card library.
3) Everything you said about these cards being intended as preview cards for GT or meant to be included in Kid Buu has no basis in reality, and just doesn’t make sense since Kid Buu did have Broly cards.
4) The main reason these cards (and others released in GT) have DBZ backs is 100% a licensing issue. The scenes and subject matter in the cards all came from DBZ and not DBGT, and had to be licensed differently. This is why GT cards that use images from Dragon Ball or DBZ that were included in the show as flashbacks all include a “Flashback” label on them. The Broly and Villain Invasion cards weren’t Flashbacks but came direct from DBZ, so they get DBZ backs.
