This past weekend, registration for Gen Con 2012 events officially opened up and the last of the Retro DBZ CCG events got approved. If you’ve purchased your Gen Con badge, you can already reserve your space for these events. In the past, it has never been a problem getting into our events but it’s better to be safe than sorry. There’s no cost to attend the panels, but the tournament itself has an entry fee of $6. Don’t panic if the tournament fills up, we’ll take generic tickets and try to accommodate everyone as best we can if we get more than 32 players (like we did last year). You can search for these in Gen Con’s online system by using the Game ID.
You can find information for all of our events on the Tournaments page.

The Rise and Fall of Score Entertainment – Saturday, August 18, 2012 – 5:00 PM – Indianapolis Convention Center: Room 243 – Gaming ID: SEM1229963
Score Entertainment rose to prominence in the golden age of TCGs with hits like Dragon Ball Z and Inu Yasha. So how did it all end? Hear from the people that were there during the rise and fall.
its kinda f@cked up that i’m looking forward to hearing about the downfall of score almost as much as i’m looking forward to winning the tournament
Thanks for the information — it made buying the tickets really easy.
Perhaps this is a dumb question… I was a long time dbzccg player and unfortunately over time my collection was sold or tossed out. So if I was able to make it to the event what are the communities feelings on proxied cards? Obviously they would be sleeved and undetectable from the others. I just think at this point in the games life that those who have access to GOhans Power Hits, Z warrior gathers or Fatherly Advices should not determine the winner, but it should be deck design and skill. Just curious…
Proxies are permitted, we outline their use on the Tournaments page.
