Our next card was based off of Carpet Attack Technique. We wanted to do something similar with allies, and decided to give that honor to Demon King Piccolo.
Throughout Dragon Ball, Piccolo really takes advantage of his allies like the Emperor Pilaf gang and his own children. All for the glory of King Piccolo! His allies are only there to serve him, and are immediately expendable to achieve his goals.
When we originally created this card, it didn’t have the “Your allies cannot use personality powers for the remainder of Combat” caveat at the end. This was added for one personality: Cell! We started building really crazy decks with Cell Jr. where we would use all their powers except for Cell Jr. 1, Namekian Expendables all the other Cell Jr. personalities and then bring them back with Cell Jr. 1 to use their powers again. Additionally you could also use all your ally powers, Namekian Expendables them all away, then use Cell’s Instant Transmission, Gohan’s Nimbus Cloud or Master Roshi’s Makeshift Background for The Other World and renew your attack fairly easily.
Tune in tomorrow, where we’ll look at a Saiyan card that may help the Saiyan Ally and Saiyan MBS Mastery decks. Later BroZ!
Not bad. You can definitely use this to finish off a strong combat; and even The Other World next turn to do it all again.
Makes me miss those broken Cell Jr Namekian Ally decks from Cell Games (with 3 straining destruction moves + namekian style mastery)
The new cell level one….the king Vegeta ally, and now this….
I swear you all are trying to make Cell Jr decks more powerful lol
After using my Cell smiles I got into play from my level one power, I’ll discard the last card in my opponents hand and play Interview with the green guy or Battle of the saiyans along with Namekian Expendables for around 36 power stages/life cards of damage =)
I like this card. You can win a game because of it, but it’s not a card that is so powerful that the entire game hinges on it.
