APRIL FOOLS, it’s just our latest Virtual Card for the 2013 set!
It’s our first ever location, and something that might fit right into the new Kami archetype that was introduced last month. And while not a silver bullet, it can help stem the tide of the overwhelming strength of Majin Buu as well as give weaker characters a boost in the physical beats department. We doubt that this will replace the already dominant City in Turmoil or Winter Countryside (or even the infrequent Tree of Might), but we hope that this location might open up some options or provide some defense/offense for your Main.
All of our Virtual Cards revealed so far this year can now be viewed in the Virtual Cards 2013 section of the card library.
Later BroZ!
Wasn’t terribly impressed with Kami, but this I like! This can really make a game interesting. Not bad at all, well done!
Oh yeah adding this to my Kami deck and maybe my Herucle beat deck.
If you are making locations, can I petition for a Planet Namek?
Planet Namek would be neat.
That actually would be amazing I would be cool if it did something with dragon ball capturing or something
I forgot to comment on this actual location. I think this is a good idea. This could help curb the desire to play Buu in the Retro Format, and also work great with the Virtual Raditz. Raditz = 4 base, everyone against him = 2.
Technically this should be a battleground – the battle against kid buu was fought here!
Location vs battleground – my first thoughts are nimbus cloud and land in pain. Being a location only seems to make it more powerful, and it’s already pretty strong. Could be a good way to curb buu, the only question is – how do you get it out fast enough? Decks that can pull a location early will really like this, any kind of freestyle goku/gohan deck would at least consider it I think, despite being physical beatdown themselves.
That would be true, if this were from when the battle were taking place! Note the lack of damage. It’s from when they were merely watching the fight on earth, like a glorified movie theatre.
Great job on this one. Almost like it should have been part of the original game.
Interesting! Would work obviously very well against phys. beats but I am curious to see how much of an edge it gives ally decks like Black TS Bojack or Colorless Roshi Bomb
