Here is the last Ginyu Force ally for the new and improved Captain Ginyu!
He’s a handy guy to have around when your opponent is sitting on a bunch of Non-Combats. His power is a little redundant with Captain Ginyu, but we made it that way so that Recoome could still be used as a decent ally.
One other thing we added was allowing Recoome to use Freestyle Saiyan Heritage Only cards. We did this for one reason alone: Recoome Boom! Sure, it’s not a great attack but because of the all-encompassing errata, it became Saiyan Heritage Only and we felt that Recoome should be able to use that attack (while not being made a Saiyan himself).
And with Recoome, that seems like a fitting place to go on hiatus for a bit while we ready the next batch of cards. We’ll resume next week with some new article content.
Later, BroZ!
Nice card guys glad to see he finally got made, just think it’s funny that he is weaker then every other member (who have power levels of 50,000)
He does, however, have the highest 1-above.
Also, Guldo’s power levels are stupid. Not sure what Score was thinking there, since he was only between 10k and 19k. Recoome would normally be higher, but had to balance him compared to Jeice.
Yeah, just thought it was funny so many wonky power levels in the game. Love the card tho.
best personality title so far
That’s one big boom.
The only worthy thing about this little Ginyu Expansion is letting him use Recoome Boom.
The power does have another benefit, you could get past orange focusing drill to hit at least one of the orange players other drills.
You guys hate control and non-combat decks so much.
I’ve heard that before and it is true to some extent: playing against control is BORING. But after that, a one combat use power for a gimmick personality that won’t do much of anything against Freestyle and one that needs a lot of help to go off effectively against a well-built Orange deck hardly seems like even a road-bump to control.
It’s only a one combat shot if you put it in Ginyu’s sensei deck, and then it’s only one shot if you aren’t smart enough to recover it with Ginyu level 2. Better use is probably just main decking him and using him every turn.
And control being boring is an opinion. I don’t find it any more or less exciting than two decks just spamming physical attacks at each other until someone draws more than the other person. But alas, this is all my opinion.
Yeah I feel the same way, that’s one reasons I love these virtual cards so much it adds some new ways of playing and bring some dead cards back to life.
