This will be the first DBZ Tournament that Las Vegas has seen in over a decade, and we are looking forward to pulling some west coast players out of retirement, or at least getting the fighting spirit flowing through the community once more. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there!
If time and player interest allows (as well as store hours), I’d like to run a Tuff Enuff tournament. More will be posted on the Facebook page as details are figured out.

Time: Registration starts at 11:00, Tournament starts 11:30am – 7:00pm

Rules: Following all RetroDBZccg.com rulings and erratas. Also all the virtual cards made on Retros site are legal. Proxies are legal, only if its an actual printed out picture. No hand written proxies.
Swiss Rounds:
50 Minute rounds – If time is reached in a round the players will receive five additional turns. If no player has won the game at the end of the fifth turn the game will be counted as a draw.
8 – 16 players 4 rounds with a cut to top 4.
17 – 32 players – 5 rounds with a cut to top 8.
33 – Capacity – 6 rounds with a cut to top 8.
Prizes:
Top 4: Alternate Art Champion’s Aura, plus cash or store credit depending on number of entrants.
1st: Custom Playmat and Alternate Art Championship Drill.
The “Oh, You just missed top cut!” Prize (either fifth or ninth, depending on size of tournament): Foil Retro Tapion 1-4.
Am I the only one that thinks, based on prizes, getting the “Oh, you just missed top cut!” is better than making cut/winning? XD
If I can hand out a prize for “oh you just missed top cut” than it means enough people showed up, and that’s way better than any prize really. That would mean a chance to grow on and get a West Coast community active again. Also, I’m working on some other random prize ideas for various things, but what’s listed is what I’ve confirmed so far.

Good luck on getting your entrants, the first time i ran North Kai it was small (19) but now its gonna be out growing the shop (possible 40-50) to the point we might have to start preregistration next year.

the key is advertising. So many people are going to north kai because that is all we talk about. We get pretty annoying about it lol
