Hey BroZ,
Gen Con 2018 is upon us this week, and you know your boys Nick Glaser, Didier and myself will be there running events for Dragon Ball and other fun stuff. Let this page serve as a primer for Dragon Ball, Retro DBZ and Random Number Gaming events at the con.
Retro DBZ Events
The Dragon Ball Panel – Thursday, 5 PM in the Westin Cabinet Room
It’s our signature Dragon Ball panel, with me and Nick Glaser. We tackle a wide variety of topics throughout the whole gamut of Dragon Ball properties. Always a fun time to meet and chat with other DBZ fan. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourself after the panel.
Last year’s discussion was put up on YouTube and we hope to load up this year’s panel after the con as well.
The Drinking Games Panel – Thursday, 11 PM in the Lucas Oil Field Stadium Meeting Room 4
Somehow we haven’t been shut down yet, so join Nick Glaser and myself as we have a fun time going over the latest Drinking Games we’ve discovered over the past year. Look forward to experiencing a “Drink Talk Learn” among other games this year.
Fusion Format Tournament – Friday, 6 PM in the Indiana Convention Center Gaming Hall B
This is actually not being run by Retro DBZ, but I decided to lump it here. Please note that this format includes Score Entertainment, Panini America and FanZ cards (it does NOT include Retro DBZ virtual sets). For more information, click here to join their Facebook group.
Random Number Gaming Events
Didier at Random Number Gaming will be running several of the Fan Z events this year. If you want to play the Panini America version of the game, please check out Didier’s guide for events at Gen Con by clicking here!
Dragon Ball Z Board Game
Hey, remember this when we posted about it a few months back and had no idea if it was still a thing? Well, apparently it is and there’s a three-hour session each day of the con to play it, presumably from Saiyan Saga through Buu Saga. As of posting this, two of the days have already sold out, so act quick if you want to get in on this. It was a pretty fun experience last year.
Dragon Ball Super Card Game
Bandai is back in the convention center with the Dragon Ball Super Card Game. There are several events and formats for you to choose from, including constructed and draft events.
(Click here to find an event!)
We look forward to seeing many of you this week and hope you take the time to enjoy some games of DBZ no matter where you are this week.
Later, BroZ!
