One thing that always bothered me in the original game was how Dr. Gero’s greatest creation, was not considered an Android. I mean, I’ve seen the case made for Frieza (which I whole-heartedly disagree with, since he is not a Gero creation) but Cell really should’ve been an Android. If you’re going to get technical and call him out as not technically being an Android, well then neither is Android 18, Android 17 or my cell phone, despite having Android in the name. He is a creation of Dr. Gero, and that is what defines an Android in this game, and we wanted to finally reflect that.
We took the precedence of Kid Trunks, Teenager to give him an effect that affects the rest of his personality stack. We feel that this gives not only the Cell personality a little more diversity, but the Android archetype as well. As an ally, he’s got a decent attack with a solid effect. As an MP, he opens up the possibility of Namekian and Saiyan Android ally decks. He’s not too shabby in Freestyle or Orange either, fetching you Android Attack Drill or Android 20 Absorbing Drill among some other solid choices. Cell always had some really solid personality levels, but now he can join his Android brethren more properly.

Personally i think this is a very very good level 1 personality. I agree that cell should be an android. I also agree that it makes a lot of different deck options.
What i disagree with is the fact he needed a level 1. He already has a amazing level 1 ht. He is amazing in saiyan, black and namekian.
As far as need is concerned, i believe android 16 was more “needed” This just makes the whole cell personality set even better, while other personality sets sort of suck lol
other than that. this personality meshes well with anything, now i am unsure if this is better than the ht level 1, which is sort of scary lol
Yeah that cell version is pretty B.A. You guys need to stop making these epic android cards.

Amazing! With the hint for next week i can only guess it says android allys cant be removed or discarded. I am very happy. I always played orange android decks and now they might be too powerful. Im not complaining 🙂
